Save the image, old title, category, seller name, and any visible code. Search the narrowest stable clue first. Treat a similar-looking replacement as a new candidate until the options and details match.
When a saved row carries another platform name

An extra platform name usually tells you where someone saved or converted the link. It does not show that the services are connected or that the current page still points to the same item.
You found the product, but the note carries two names
This happens often with older personal sheets. Someone finds an item on Taobao or Weidian, saves it through one shopping agent, shares it in a community post, and later copies it into a BuckyDrop sheet. The product may be unchanged while the saved page carries the name of Pandabuy, Wegobuy, CNFans, ACBuy, MuleBuy, Kakobuy, or another service.
The extra name is useful only as history. It may explain why a URL redirects or why the page layout looks unfamiliar. It does not tell you that the two services share accounts, orders, fees, product records, or support.
Do this before anything else
Copy the original marketplace URL, item code, seller name, thumbnail, and selected option into your own note. Those details are far more useful than the shopping-agent name if the converted page disappears.

Three situations you are likely to run into
You land on a different service or store
Read the new domain before comparing the product. If the page shows a store rather than an item, return to the original note and search for the specific product inside that store.
The selected option does not
A shared hero image can hide different colors, sizes, materials, or bundles. Compare the option name and detail photos before carrying the row into a new sheet.
When the platform name really matters
The name matters when you are dealing with an account, payment, refund, parcel, current shipping route, or current service feature. Those questions belong with the service shown in the order or account. Do not use an old spreadsheet note to decide which company currently holds an order.
For product research, the original marketplace page is usually more useful. It can help you confirm the seller, current options, item code, and listing status. A Yupoo album may add visual context, while Taobao, Weidian, or 1688 may be the original listing. Each page has a different job.
Keep a short source note with the row
- Original source: the Taobao, Weidian, 1688, seller, or catalog address if available.
- Saved through: the service name shown on the old converted page.
- Item and option: product type, color, size, material, bundle, and any stable code.
- Last checked: the date you confirmed the destination and option.
- Still missing: one sentence naming the photo, measurement, price, or policy that needs another source.
A note this short is enough to stop the next person from mistaking a converted page for the original listing. It also makes a broken link much easier to recover later.
